A hands-on opportunity to sharpen your analytical and storytelling skills by diving into the world of banking data. In this scenario, you’ll step into the role of a data analyst at a modern financial institution, working with a real-world-inspired dataset that captures the behaviors, preferences, and financial activities of banking customers.
The dataset includes 20,000 enriched transactions spanning various financial products—checking and savings accounts, personal loans, mortgages, credit card payments, and more. You'll have access to both customer-level and transaction-level data, including demographics, income segments, geographic information, service usage patterns, and associated financial metrics such as fees, late payments, and account balances.
Your objective is to uncover insights that help the bank better understand its customers, segment its user base, identify usage trends, detect early signs of churn or financial distress, and highlight opportunities for cross-selling or product optimization.
Explore, analyze, and deliver clarity. Step into the role, and let the data tell the story.
